Don't see one in BD's specs, nor are there any rigid stays. While not specifically a winter pack, have a look at Marmot's Kompressor Plus. It might suit your needs, and has a thin removable closed cell back pad and stows away into it's own lid, making it tiny when packed away. Pretty slick little unit that I've been contemplating for myself for about the same purpose. Hope that helped you out.
