Yup. New Nordic norm bindings lock you in from a standing position and you can release them with your poles while standing as well. They can get a bit fussy if iced over but that's not a huge deal. Note these are Backcountry width sized. That is they will need NNN Backcountry "BC" boots. the mechanisms that hold the bars are wider on bc bndings than regular ones.

there is a plate that you lift with your hand to open up the pin holder on the binding, it is very easy to open, but you do need to bend over and do this with your hand, then flap it down closed. Its a nice feature as you close it when not in your ski and the pin holder stays clean for re entry!
