The last sentence in the prod description "Not for use as a climbing rope" Yet in the Tech spec you say "Recommended Use: Big wall climbing, caving, expeditions, canyoneering"
I'm new to the sport and slightly confused
More to the point….this rope could be used in climbing applications just not used as the rope that would absorb a fall. You need a dynamic rope for that. Use this rope to haul your gear on a climb or repel down after but not as the rope to save you in a fall. It would be really quick stop for ya. You’d be better off hitting the crash pad or sand.
As manti, said, rappelling and hauling, but also for climbing with a soloist (self-belay device), but definitely NOT for lead climbing or even regular toproping.
