These two shoes actually have different soles. This one has the grip sole, which is a slightly softer sole that is good for friction climbing (Little Cottonwood Canyon, Yosemite). The other one that you gave the link for has the edge sole. The edge is harder and doesn't wear down as fast and is better for face climbing (Smith Rock, Ten Sleep Canyon) .
