Looking for a set up to get into the back...

Looking for a set up to get into the back country...5 miles or so into drainages along the floor....backcountry ski style..yet be able to climb with skins and come down tele or alpine style...seems like it is one or the other...any suggestion? Thank you

This boot or any of the other lightweight tele boots sound like they will match your plans. Try also the Scarpa T4, Crispi Antarctic, Fischer BCX875 or Rossi BCX11.
