I'm 6 foot with a 31" inseam 185 lbs... any info as to what size knee/shin 3x I need? Thanks for the help.

Go with Large. I'm 5'10, 31" inseam, 180lb. I tried on both. M's felt too short and didn't stay centered on my knee while riding. L's fit great.
