I know that the manufacturer says it's good for something like 50 lbs... but how big (tall/long) of a kid can this comfortably carry? Is it for a toddler, or a baby?

according to the manufacturer's website, it is engineered for any size child as long as he/she can sit up on his/her own. good for up to 48.5 lbs or 22kg.
