I have some Arcteryx stingray pants, is this what I want or do I need the TX Direct wash? (these pants are a gortex softshell). Also do I want this for an Outdoor Research Motto jacket, or should I go with the spray on? Thanks.

Yes TX Direct is the way to go . Not familiar with the Motto Jacket but if it has a fleece liner Spray On Works best.
I would consider using Tech wash first to clean both items.
