I bought this thinking I could charge my DSLR with it since it supposedly comes with a 12V OUTPUT adapter but I didn't get one. Any idea how I can get this adapter or if there is another solar charger that is still lightweight and has a direct AC output instead?

No lightweight solar panel is going to have a direct AC output.
As to your question, GoalZero says "The Nomad 7 should have come with a 12V charging cord. If it did not please contact support@goalzero.com and we can get you one."
