How do I know what size to get? My 4 year old wears a toddler size 8 shoe.
My 3 year old is a size 8 toddler and we have a pair from her older brother that are size 11. They are big, but the heel velcro adjusts them down enough to fit pretty well. It also means they will fit longer. At these young ages, it isn't important that the shoe fit's tight, the sticky rubber still helps them climb, even is the fit isn't perfect. :)
Granted this question above is a year old; but, for all others inquiring, the shoes seem to fit true to actual size.
At the rate kids grow combined with lower rated climbs they are doing, don't be afraid to size up a bit and get more life out of the shoe. I can't imagine buying the right size at every step. The velcro heel straps help to make larger sizes fit better while growing into them.
