Hi guys,

Does anyone have any experience climbing the cascades mountains or 14ers in these gaiters? I'm a bit worried as to whether picking up a black pair will cause my legs to overheat when the sun is bearing down on us during ascent/descent. (The same reason I picked up a light colored pants instead of black ones)

I have blue ones that have been up a few 14ers. If you're hiking in heat and sun, they'll get hot no matter what color they are. In cold air, they breath enough that you'll be fine. If you're worried about black, why not get a different color?
