Hello, I am trying to decide between the North Face Apex Bionic soft shell and the Marmot Altitude soft shell jacket. I basicly need a good soft shell that I can handle occasional rock climbing and not be in the way and be good for easy hiking too. I am 5'11" with an athletic build and the smalls for both fit just fine. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thank you.

Hey Logan,

Thanks for the question and I see why you're a bit torn. Good on you for finding out the sizes and I'm feeling like it is going to depend on how much actual aerobic activity you'll do in this piece. If you'll be doing more than a bit of the aerobic jaunts over climbing, stick with the Apex Bionic. If it'll be more climbing oriented, go with the Altitude from Marmot.

Excellent, thank you for the advice. I will much likely be doing a small amount of rock climbing, only really when needed. I may steer towards the Apex since the jacket also felt slightly more comfortable and still fit well.
