For winter hydration, if i put in a bladder would the hose be insulated on the shoulder straps? This looks like a pretty good pack, are the ski straps seem pretty durable and large enough for fat skis? Thanks

As far as the hydration bladder the shoulder straps won't give you any insulating power, Deuter does however sell a sleeve you can put over the hose to insulate it.
