cherryhill. The canopy fabric changed on the 2012 version of the EV2 and 3 making both tents substantially lighter. We also updated the poles to DAC Featherlight NSL poles which helped with the weight as well. The EV 2 now comes in at a svelt 4Ibs 5oz where the old weight was around 5lbs 2oz.
