Keeps me dry in light to moderate rain, decent protection from wind as well. The jacket is thin and not very warm, definitely best for mild temps or as a layering piece. The fit is very flattering. I'm 5'4" and about 130 lbs with sort of narrow shoulders, small waist and a short torso. I usually buy small tops and this size small jacket leaves me with plenty of room to put a sweater underneath. Got it in rose red/persian red, a past season color. Get compliments on it all the time.
