The wide version of a jib-specific park weapon.
Big-footed jbbers rejoice—your toe- and heel-drag terrain park nightmares are over. The Bataleon Disaster Wide Snowboard was meant to be pressed, slid, buttered, and bonked from the terrain park to downtown, and it's made for the size-11-and-up crowd. Triple Base Technology combines the loose, forgiving feel of a rocker board with the pop of camber for easier landings without washing out, and the Toughcore has super-soft flex that's perfect for jibbing, yet is very strong so that it won't snap halfway through the season. The Disaster's Jib TBT rocker provides plenty of stability when you need it, like locking into presses. The profile mimics regular camber but with hard angles where regular camber is a continuous curve. At the tip and tail, the edges are turned up. This profile gives the board a playful feel but also powerful edge control when the edges are weighted. Bataleon's Tough Core is an all-wood composite that's virtually unbreakable but also super flexible to provide confidence-inspiring forgiveness in the park and on rails. The Disaster's true twin shape makes riding switch feel the same as riding forward, and Bataleon's Hammer Edges are much tougher than normal edges so the board isn't destroyed after just a couple of rail sessions. Bataleon finished the board off with an extruded base that makes repairs a snap.
