Hideously comfy.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

They're not exactly pleasing to the eye, as they look like the mutant offspring of some doomed affair between a pair of clown shoes and a cheap sleeping bag, but they do provide very affordable comfort. The 3XLs are just right for my 12.5-13 feets. As long as you don't plan on doing anything more than scuff around the house, they're bomber -- warm without being smothering, machine washable, and with a non-skid sole. I'm perfectly satisfied.

Love 'em!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs small

I've been wanting a pair of down booties for awhile now, and it wasn't until a recent yurt trip that I decided it was finally time. They are incredibly warm, comfortable and light. I wouldn't wear them around outside too much, as the soles aren't rubber, but for their designed intention, they rule.
I wear a size 8 shoe generally, and I got the size larges. They fit perfectly.

my husband's addiction

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs small

the title says it all: he is on his second pair and these are the only slippers my husband will wear. He works from home, and these are his daily footwear around the house. They do run on the small side, so half sizes should definitely sizse up. My husband wears a 10 1/2 shoe but in these he wears a XXL. Soles really don't hold up for outdoor wear, but perfect around the house and easily packable for trips.

took these camping and they ripped almost instantly. not like i was bushwacking either... they are however comfortable and moderately warm

Super comfortable

I buy these as presents for people the last 2 years. Unexpectedly comfortable. Be careful with sizing, you have to really size up as prev commenters point out.

Around the house

These are ok for around the house. I bought a pair to try them out and they are pretty comfortable and cozy. I can't say that they are as supple as a real goose down slipper, and they just don't recirculate the heat like a goose down slipper does. They are good for around the house, but I would not take these out on a trip for a tent slipper personally. They don't compress down like real down, and they are just not warm enough.

Toasty warm but a bit noisy!

I gave these slippers to my husband for Christmas. He loves them and they keep his feet toasty warm. My only complaint is that they make a "sticking" sound when he walks on hardwood floors or any floor that is not carpeted. The XXL fit him perfectly and he takes a 10.5 in shoes.

Great for my elderly father

I bought these for my father who has trouble keeping slippers on and is also a fall risk. The bungee cord keeps the slipper on securely and the slip-resistant soles do their job, albeit with a sticky sound across linoleum. He says they keep his feet very warm, too, and he keeps them on most of the day when he is indoors. My mom loves them because it is one less worry for her and because they are easily washable.

Although he's not the demographic most of your customers here fall in, I came across your slippers in a very intensive web search for something that would meet their criteria and maybe this review will help out another looking for a slipper for similar reasons.

Best Slippers Ever

My husband and I are both on our second pair and actually bought an extra because they go out of stock quickly. These slippers are extremely comfortable and warm. I wanted something with a non-slip bottom but something I could tuck under my legs or snuggle under a blanket in without a rubber sole getting in the way. They are truly sleeping bags for your feet. The only slippers I will ever buy.

Responded on

You should try a real down slipper, you would think otherwise and never turn back.

Little sleeping bags for your feet...

This little things are sweet... They are super light weight and packable. Makes them an excellent option for travel and camping tent booties. They are very warm and comfortable. FIrst night I had them I wore them to bed and barely even knew they were there. I have been wearing them around the house for weeks and I love them.

One down side (no pun intended) is that they are in no way water resistant. Wore them one night to run out to the car when the ground was wet and they soaked right through.

They definately run small. So size up when you order.

Better than TNF's Tent Mule

I was looking for something that I could throw in my pack on those trips that i dont mind sacrificing a little weight for comfort. These can be packed smaller than the Tent Mule II because they do not have the solid foam sole on them. This makes them less stable in the outdoors, and more susceptible to tears and punctures, but for me the packability was a better tradeoff.

I wear a size 10.5 shoe...which falls between the XL and 2XL. Which one should I order? Do they run big or small?

Responded on

I wear the same size as you and ordered a 2XL. It fit perfect, and if you are on the small side of 10.5 then there is also a cord to keep it secure on your foot.

toasty

i got these for working in my cold basement office. they are spectacular. i also gave a pair for Christmas & i believe both pairs have been worn every day since they were received. fit great & keep the feet toasty warm.

toasty

Bought these for camping. They work great in the tent and even slept in them when it got really cold. Nice and warm.

warm and wonderful

I bought them for my hubby whose feet are always cold. He loved them so much I bought a second pair that were more booties than low cut.We just use them in the house as we keep our heat low and they are great...warm, light weight, and not slippery

Snuggly Goodness

I really like these slippers for a few reasons. They are really lightweight, comfortable, warm and compact. Perfect for backpackers who need a way to warm up in their tent or yurt. I got myself a pair, then ordered them for all of my friends for Christmas!

I am wondering if these can get wet, not soacked but like to wear to the pool and back?

Responded on

Ehh, you could but I wouldn't recommend it. These are really meant for walking around the house. I agree, I would not get these wet. They are not designed for it and you will have mighty cold tootsies!
