only dinners are consistently good

This and the vegetarian 3 day pack are always a good deal, especially when you can get the stroganoff, the Kathmandu curry, or the pad Thai (which are pretty rare). However, the breakfasts are never great, and sometimes truly awful. To whit: the granola with blueberries and milk. Granted, this is backpacking, but this meal is just terrible. To get the berries and milks rehydrated all the way, you have to let the granola soak until it's really soggy, and it's even worse cold. BPP is no stranger to parting out their meals, so why the milk and blueberries aren't separated from the granola, I will never know. I keep buying these packs, as they're a screaming deal, but I have a steadily growing stack of these blueberry granola monstrosities.
Fuel for the long haul

These meals are pretty tasty. I really liked the beef stroganoff, the jamaican jerked chicken and the hawaiian style rice and chicken. I didn't care much for the denver omelet, not much flavor and a mess to clean up, as you have to cook it in the pan. Overall though, I would by this Meal kit again in a heartbeat.
Are all these food packs gluten free?
Some of the meals and deserts contain a little gluten. If you need to be 100% gluten free, I advise picking your meals individually and clicking on the pictures of the nutritional facts, for each meal. It will say in bold print at the bottom, if it contains Gluten.

The kit includes: Heuvos Rancheros, Denver Omelet, Granola with Bananas and Milk, Katmandu Curry, Louisiana Red Beans and Rice, Jamaican Jerk Rice with Chicken, Hawaiian Chicken, Beef Stroganoff, Chili Mac with Beef, Cheesecake, Mocha Mousse Pie, and Hot Apple Cobbler.
...or at least it ought to if they are all the same!
