Call it the most promiscuous product on our shelves, but there is a deeper meaning behind the Men's "Who says..." organic-cotton short-sleeve T-Shirt. The term ‘hummer' has a multitude of definitions. In this particular case, we are taking a stance against those enormous automobiles with oversize tires that flatten pretty much any marsupial or plant in their paths. These Sport Utility Vehicles have become a gas-guzzling sign of excess, and represent a disregard for our precious natural resources. Recently, HUMMER (the SUV company) weighed in as a major sponsor to Outdoor Retailer--the outdoor industry's premiere trade show. While our gas-guzzling outdoor brethren have their place, we feel that backcountry wilderness is not it. Show your support for human-powered fun and make your dollars be heard with a Backcountry.com hummer tee—all profits go to charity at the Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance (SUWA). *Large size is not 100% organic (sorry--our supplier ran out).

Bottom Line: Come one, Come all and support the Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance.

It is a good quality t-shirt that is nothing if not good for hangin' around the house or taking a break after riding, running or hiking. At 10 bucks how could you go wrong?

Pushing the limits, I like it. For a company charging ahead towards 9-digit numbers, this is a gutsy move to say the least and I have a lot of respect for the executive team that isn't afraid to say "f--- it" because the issue of the environment and our impact on it is too damn important. I'm the founder of evogear.com and evo in Seattle and it's inspiring to see big retailers, manufacturers and other companies alike taking a strong stance. You may not see a drawing of someone on all fours on our site soon but we will be making the statements that have been behind the scenes customer facing in the near future.

Nice work,
bp
