Good shirt, Couple problems

By:
August 23, 2011

at 5' 10" 140lbs, I loved the initial fit of this shirt in XL. After washing though, it is definitely more like a large (still not bad) So definitely size up when buying this shirt if you plan on putting it through the dryer. Still feels pretty soft after a couple times through the wash/dry cycle. The only other problem I've noticed is a lot of loose threads of varying lengths. I've pulled off a lot of them, No problems so far. If there is any unraveling or what-have-you, I'll be sure to update the review!

Ultra-light and comfy

By:

I ordered the black version last week and was surprised at how light and breathable it feels. Great t-shirt for climbing/biking/hiking/etc - plus it's a slick design and a great way to rep an awesome brand.

Dryer

I love how soft this shirt feels. I guess I should say felt. Its not the shirt's fault but the fault of the dryer. Don not get this awesome shirt near heat or your little brother just got a new shirt. I ordered an XL but now am the proud owner of a M.

Backcountry.com Screen Shot T-Shirt

These shirts are great for one use but I own the same shirt in a Large and a Medium and the Large is about 2 inches shorter than the medium after each has been washed once (in the same load - same heat, etc.). Neither one fits anymore as the large is wide and short and the medium is just overall too small. Pretty bummed as these are so soft and I really dig the design.

I love the look and the fit but after one wash my XL went down to a medium and the neck started to droop really bad.

Good t-shirt but order big

These are great basic T's but make sure you order one size bigger. These shirts shrink significantly after one wash. I'm a size L and I would have done well with an XL or maybe XXL.

They shrink, waiting for the new model

By: Backcountry.com Employee
March 1, 2011

I wanted to buy goat shirts and couldn't find them on my size (XL). Finally found some models and was really excited when I got them, except that once I washed them they shrunk and now the fit is weird, too wide and short. I hope they fix this.
