What is the Goat Sleeve, you ask? It's a scarf, a handkerchief, a neckerchief, a headband, a hairband, a wristband, a bandana, and a cap.

Can't go wrong

I've used this in all types of ski conditions - from blizzards to spring skis. Somehow it keeps me 'just right' - never too hot or too cold. Definitely a must for any outdoor activity.

This neck cover runs slim and fits nicely over the face in windy conditions. I prefer to use this in the winter and it protects your face and dries quickly. The pattern on this product is not continuous. there is a front and back.

The jam!

These can be used for so many things, everyone should buy one. I give them as gifts and stoke out all my friends. Perfect for running, hiking, skiing. Super lightweight, but enough to block the fierce winds. SO SOFT. The picture also doesn't do the SICK ASS GOAT print justice. Love it

I have ordered a few of these in the past, but always end up hating them. I have been trying to replace the one i got while in the army, and that has been my stranded as far as overall quality.

Now i am a fan of seriously ever Backcountry product they put out. so i figured i would give this a shot, sence the other more expensive ones have just sucked. There is nothing worse then putting a Gator on and have your face freeze because of the moisture build up from breathing. My old Army one never did that, but ever other one i have bought(5 of them) has had that problem. This however does not, this thing stays dry the entire time, and surprisingly wicked warm for how light weight it is.

I do not see how people gave this a bad review at all . Once again Backcountry really put out a solid product here.

Army RECON approved!

This thing rocks!

Love this little buff, I use it when I go fly fishing on cold days or even fit it under my race helmet for the cold morning trackdays. This thing is amazing. Definitely a good buy.

All Around Awesomeness

  • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I had heard the legends of this awesome Goat Sleeve and am stoked to finally have one of my own. This sleeve is an all-purpose beast- use it as a headband when hiking or skiing, or just walking around; use it as a face mask for the deep powder days or when you want to feel cool walking around town; and use it as a neck gaiter/warmer when you're a bit chilly. However you choose to wear this, you will look good doing it!

In addition to it's versatility and dashing good looks, this sleeve is really comfortable and easy to get on and take off.

Multi-purpose

Great for covering my face on a cold alpine ski day. Pretty breathable and non-obtrusive. Awesome for backcountry days... can work as a face protector, neck warmer or hat. On the up-track I find myself starting with the neck warmer and a separate hat. I can peel the hat, and slide the buff up from being a neck warmer to covering my head and keeping the sun off. We've got about 4-5 of these around our house now, as multiple members of the family use them.

Great buff!

Tons of ways to wear and use. I love how stretchy it is. Big thick fleece neck warmers always slide down my face I find. It is also very easy to breathe through if you cover your mouth with it. Dries very quickly and is easily washed.

I'll be using this for the forseeable future!

Stinky mess

This rag is great, it does its job absorbing sweat and cooling off the noggin. I titled it stinky mess because every time I use it that is what it turns into. But throw it into the wash and she smells new again.

I thought that it was a tad long and so I actually cut about a 1/3 of mine and made 2 out of one. I use the big one as a moisture wicking beanie and the little one as a sweat band. I have recommended this product and would compare it the the Buffo ones, but for less $$

Size wise I have about a 7 1/4 hat size and it fits me snug.

    Stinky mess

    Perfect protection!!!

I bought this sleeve to replace the uncomfortable balaclava that I've used on my last few snowboarding trips. I always ended up pulling it down because of the awkward fit on my face, completely defeating the purpose of even wearing it. I needed something to comfortable protect my face and neck, and found the sleeve to be the perfect solution. It's comfortable to wear, and breaths just enough to not fog up my goggles and to feel the cool air. I also use it while fishing for sun protection. Very versatile, comfortable, and at a great price. A must have for the outdoor enthusiast.

      One is not enough!

I purchased only one to start, not being sure how it would fit or how well it would absorb sweat, but the Goat Sleeve is fantastic! I get people asking me where I bought it all the time and it works great every single time. Works fantastic absorbing my sweat during my run or hike and then when finished works great to keep my head cool. Love it!

Does this breath well enough to keep glasses from fogging up? I have multiple covers that I use to block wind and cold from my face, but I have yet to find one that doesn't leak around the nose and cause my glasses to fog. Any experience?

Any idea when the blue and/or other colors will be in stock? I was set to order one today, only to find that my cart had been emptied of the blue goat sleeve I was waiting to buy until I added some other gear to my cart.

This product is made of the highest quality performance microfiber. It blocks the wind, retains the warmth, wicks perspiration and dries quickly. It has high elasticity and an anti-microbial from Sanitized. This is the highest quality and best type of this product on the market.
It is from Wind X-treme; founded in 1995. All others are poor copies. They also make a merino wool and polar fleece combo.

      Is it cotton or poly?

It would seem to me as it's an almost exact copy of the buff...Are ethics non-existent these days?

I have a buff and it's great, so I'd imagine this product to be great as well, but don't copy other products. Feels like a Design Within Reach type of approach, which really hurt their brand until they realized their mistakes and turned things around.
