Looking for the perfect outfit for Closing Day at Alta? Why not accessorize that coconut bra with the Backcountry.com Cocona Ski Sock? Cocona's carbon properties mean odor-free footsies for you, as well as natural wicking ability to keep your feet dry from first chair to last call.
Bottom Line: Don a pair of Backcountry.com Cocona Ski Socks and attack the mountain with gusto.
A great light ski sock for those that enjoy a closer fit. These are a thin product, with no extra frills, with good resistance to washing and maintain color and and sizing. Covering the entire calf, they insulate well and keep their stretch. Work well several days in a row due to great odor resistance and quick drying.
While this was a two-fer deal, both socks arrived with holes. One was on the top of foot so still functional, the other was on the toe so was not usable. Bummer. I think the crapped out economy factored in when I decided to keep them anyway and have someone sow it up. Otherwise they work fine. Light weight and stay up...what more do you need? The price was right...just wish the holes were not included.

I hate thick socks in my boot. These are a thin sock that also keeps the feet warm. They are good for multiple days as they eat order and dry fast. If your like me and dont like the extra bulk feel, but dont want to sacrifice warmth, then I would recommend getting a pack or two.
Very nice sock that kept me warm. And they do not smell. I still prefer the Merino Wool though, the Cocona sock tends to collapse on the footbed, loosing the nice cushiony loft.
I have the means Backcountry socks (item # BCC0143) and the packaging recommended me to get a large/X-Large and I went with the Small/Medium's and was glad I did. Moral of the story is size down a bit, there's some stretch to these babies, I'd get the Small/Medium's. I have an 8.5 womens foot and got the small/medium and they fit great. That size should work for you as well with a 9 foot. A ladies 10 should probably go the next size up.
I wont lie I was a little skeptical having never heard of cocona, but I put these socks on and was on the hill for 3 days straight amazing odor resistance and I have some pretty bad swamp foot they fit great have an almost compression sock ability, great insulating value and no scratchiness and have worn better than my merino socks, wont lie.....
I have to admit when I first got these I was afraid they'd be a return. I'm so glad I tried them! They are so warm and comfy and wash fabulously. They felt like they might be scratchy but that is not the case at all. Great purchase.
Love these socks - everything the other reviewers said is accurate. The only thing I have to add is that these socks wash really well. Some socks pill up and cause problems in your boots - not these!
I wore them all day in my work boots just to test them out. My feet were very hot, because it was 70+ degrees outside. My feet stayed relatively dry and when I took my beat up old work boots off. My feet did not stink!I can not think of a more demanding test than that. Great socks!
Warm and thin. I've got the always sweating foot curse, and these socks work great. They seem to wick and stay warm better than some of my wool socks. Seem to be on the big side for sizing.
I really like these socks, and I don't even ski. I use them for winter cycling and running, and have even worn them to work on a few cold days. They are warm yet breathable. The material is pretty amazing in that it really seems to deter odor buildup.
I love these socks for skiing especially. There's not a lot you need to say about them. They're pretty thin, move well, don't bunch or pill at all, wick moisture well and seem to never stink! A great product from Backcountry.com and definitely something to stick a lot of in your ski bag!
These socks are great for a thinner ski/snowboard sock. I wear a size 12 shoe and the L/XL fit really well on me, they cover almost my entire calf. They dry quickly and they really do resist odors.
