Description

Yep, this shirt WOULD be great instead of your three-layer shell when a storm front from the Sierras moves into the mountains.

In need of no real introduction, the Backcountry.com Men's Beater T-Shirt only has one thing to say: 'If you fall in the lift line because your wireless cell phone headset falls out of your football jacket on a powder day, be prepared to get trampled.' We all know the guy (or gal) of which the Beater Shirt speaks; it's Johnny From Da' Shore, with more ice around his neck than a frozen waterfall and more blue in his jeans than the Atlantic. He might know where the stunt ditch is located, he always knows where the bahh is, and ultimately you'll find him trading stock while he sits on the can. We tip our hats to you Mr. Beater, for you have shown us the promised land of beaterdom, and although it seems a magical place, rather than visit, we choose simply to honor it with this fine cotton shirt.

This is such an awesome shirt, but the small was too big for me. I usually always wear a small and if anything they might be a little tight for my taste but this was just gangster big on me (I'm about 5'6" 140).

This is a great t-shirt. I warm yet cooling, breaths very well! I use it for working in, lounging around the house, ect.

Everyone always asks me what a Backcountry Beater is... but other than that awkward question, I love this shirt. The print is mellow and reminds me of a whiskey bottle. The best part is the material the shirt is made out of, it's so soft and comfortable!

Got the shirt today and tried it on. The fit is great, and I love the material.

This T is rad! If you're a skier/snowboarder you know what a beater is. Cool graphic, but the real reason the T is rad is due to the fabric. It is so comfy, I could wear it day and night. Well, sometimes I do...
It fits true to size.

People are more likely than not going to assume that you love your whiskey when you wear this shirt. Even if you do love whiskey, you can still calm their fears by explaining what backcountry really is.
Overall, this is one of my favorite shirts. It's super comfortable, fits really well, and looks cool.

This one is comfortable and has a great design.. Have had it a few months and it's holding up quite well for what I've put it through! Great shirt!

These synthetic T's feel great, much better than cotton. So saddle up and get one! Fits true to size, can't go wrong.

You will not find a more comfortable t-shirt! At 6'1" and 175 lbs the large fits perfectly!

Love this shirt! Unlike some of the other reviews, I found that this runs true to size. I usually wear a large (6'1" 210#), and this shirt in a large is spot-on. The fabric is a little bit heavier than some of the other synthetic shirts out there - I found that the weight and feel of this shirt is more like cotton, but still breathes like synthetic. Great combo!

Fit of t-shirt is true to size. Like the feel better then a Under Armor T. Wicking is great on hikes, and plan to beat it good on a Three trip into the backcountry!
