The Alpine Trekker Ski Crampon gives you a little more tenacity on icy slopes compared to hiking with skins alone. When you run into slippery surfaces, this crampon takes over. The Alpine Trekker Crampon mounts beneath the toepiece of the Alpine Trekker touring adapter, for maximum stability and less bulk than top-mounted crampons. This crampon penetrates hard snow when weighted and is withdrawn when un-weighted. *Sold in pairs
Bottom Line: When traversing icy faces, the Alpine Trekker Ski Crampon will keep your skis (and you) attached to the mountain.
