A stiff, reliable, freeride boot that excels in comfort, performance, and durability.

After years of training or seasons of 100+ days, it's time to give your feet, skill, and abilities the respect they deserve with the Atomic Men's Waymaker Carbon 130 Ski Boot. Designed for those who live, breathe, and play in the mountains, this big mountain freeride boot provides you the tools to send that massive straightline, conquer a big mountain line in a freeride competition, or keep up with the big dogs at your home resort. With a 130 flex index, the Waymaker Carbon 130 supplies a stiff, reliable flex while its 101mm last offers a medium fit. Atomic's unique Live Fit zones on the lateral side of the shell feature elastic that accommodates your forefoot for instant comfort, an improved feel, better blood flow, and warmer toes, which all add up to a happier foot and better performance.

Designed as a one-component shell, Atomic engineers have incorporated carbon reinforced areas into the cuff and shell for increased responsiveness and power transmission to help maintain feel and sensitivity at the front of the boot. Since the best lines on the upper mountain often require a bootpack (or a skin), the Waymaker Carbon 130 includes the Free/Lock system. Simply lift the lever located on the back of the boot to allow the cuff to move freely and provide optimum stride as well as easy entry and exit. Return the lever and mechanically lock the cuff to the shell for 100% power on the descent. Three-buckle construction securely wraps the foot, holds the heel in place, and supports the leg, providing four-buckle-like foot hold and energy transmission. A 50mm power strap also supplies additional support and helps to prevent the dreaded shin bag.

Equipped with an ASY (Asymmetric Liner Construction) Elite T3 liner with Flex Zone technology, the Waymaker Carbon 130 creates a better fitting and ultimately more comfortable liner by utilizing an asymmetrically designed tongue, toe box, collar shape, and outer lining. Incorporating heat-moldable Dynashape foam, the Elite liner instantly adapts to the shape of your foot while, at the same time, providing a longer lasting fit. Atomic also gave this freeride boot a Sidas footbed that offers the ideal blend of proper support and initial first-fit comfort.

This mountain-slayer of a boot also comes with a Multi-Norm Chassis and DIN grip pads that help ensure solid traction on rock, icy terrain, and snowy walkways. The standard DIN grip pads can also be replaced with touring grip pads (sold separately) to allow the Waymaker Carbon 130 to be used with all binding systems so you can head out to play in the backcountry for a couple of laps (with proper safety equipment, of course).
