The Atomic Waymaker Carbon 120 Ski Boot was built for the hard-charging skier who wants a stiff and reliable boot whether they're charging down frontside groomers or straight-lining steep and narrow chutes along the upper reaches of the resort. With a 120 flex, the Waymaker is a stiff, performance-forward boot, while its 101mm last has a medium fit to ensure all-day comfort. Three solid 7000-series aluminum buckles secure your foot when it's time to rip another lap down the mountain, and Atomic's top-of-the-line Gold liner with 3M Thinsulate Platinum insulation offers serious warmth and comfort, without altering the responsive nature of the boot.
The unique design of the Waymaker's shell consists of a PU shell and cuff with carbon reinforcements along the spine to stiffen them, increase responsiveness, and keep a sensitive feel at the front of the boot. The Live Fit zone eliminates hot spots that can exist along the lateral side of the boot, while a solid PU material along the medial side of the boot helps them maintain the effective power transfer big mountain skiers want when they're skiing fast in demanding terrain. A walk mode makes long bootpacks a lot easier on your hip flexors and makes taking the boots off after a full-day on the mountain a whole lot easier. Like all Carbon Waymaker boots, the 120s feature Atomic's Multi-Norm chassis, which allows the soles to be switched between alpine DIN and alpine touring (sold separate) compatible soles.
