With a 78mm waist, the Ultimate is the big brother to the original 65mm Ultimate, a ski that won a Ski Mountaineering World Cup. Atomic's poplar and caruba UltraLite Woodcore gives you a competitive edge while climbing, and carbon laminates create stability and transfer power to the snow for superior downhill performance.
Built for speed, the Ultimate 78 features a race tip for quickly fixing skins and keeping that transition time to a minimum. An all-mountain rocker profile gives you rocker at the tip for easy turn initiation and float in soft snow, crud, and variable terrain while camber underfoot gives you powerful edge grip on hardpack and at speed.
