Great boot for touring

There are two things I enjoy most about this boot: walk mode and the rubber sole.

The touring mode on the Tracker is great because it doesn't compromise the downhill performance. I was just heli-skiing in Alaska (no need for walk mode) and still brought these boots because they perform so well on the descent. You don't know you're in a touring boot until you have to use the walk mode. And the walk mode easily goes back into ski mode, something uncommon in a lot of boots on the market in this arena.

Also, if you're touring, you're probably going to be walking/climbing on mixed terrain to get to your objective. It's so nice to have a sole that provides a sturdy foot for walking on wet rock and ice.

I don't have problems on the outside of my foot with any ski boot, but I am sure for women who have hotspots there, that the Live Fit allows you to jump in the boots for long days and not have any problems.
