Thug Alpine Ski

Atomic's monster powder plane, the Atomic Thug Alpine Ski has plenty of muscle to push around. Take the Thug out for a ride when the powder mobbs deep. This monster's 120mm waist floats it out whether you're gunning through endlessly deep pow or hucking backcountry kickers. The full twintip and girthy underfoot platform are just asking for switch landings. The burly base materials, Dura-edge construction, and tough wood core hold up against the occasionally uncovered shark fin and tree trunk out in the backcountry. Take this beast into the resort without a problem thanks to the smooth side cut, which takes the dirty work out of killing the groomers.

Bottom Line: Make the backcountry your bitch with the Atomic Thug Alpine Ski.

I don't have an exact answer for weight, but the tips and tails are a honeycomb construction so it skis light and spins real easy. I've skied the big one and was impressed with how agile it was for such a fat ski with a real mellow sidecut (~40m in the 192cm!).
