The Sugar Daddy Alpine Ski doesn't mess around when it comes to ripping big-mountain lines and floating through fresh snow. Combined with the Atomic FFG 14 Driver Binding, this freeride duo can't be stopped. Atomic's Sugar Daddy Alpine Ski worked hard to get where it's at, and it's generous enough to share its riches with you. The Densolite core keeps the Sugar Daddy lighter than comparable wood core skis. With a 28m (173cm) turn radius, it's able to cruise at serious speed without becoming twitchy. The Beta 4 construction works to transmit your energy to the outside edge while simultaneously damping vibration. But don't be fooled by the new-school length, the Sugar Daddy is a big-ass ski—99mm underfoot—enough width to float you through the bottomless pow of Alta or Alaska. These skis are great! I've had a pair of the old Sugar Daddys, which had the binding mounting plate on them. These do not and they are so light. I mounted the Freeride A/T bindings on them to make them even lighter. Now when I carry my 10-EX around they feel sooo heavy. They carve nice on the groomers and rip the pow even better.
