While the Atomic Sport Skate Boot borrows performance features like precision and control from its big brother, the Race Skate, it also takes comfort into account. Its Sport Fit last measures 104mm, giving you a slightly more spacious fit, and it ditches a ratcheting buckle cuff closure in favor of a more flexible hook-and-loop power strap. Taken with an easy-to-use, form-fitting Quicklace system and adjustable heel strap, this results in a boot that is precise, lightweight, and comfortable enough to be worn all day. And at just three quarters of an ounces heavier than the top-of-the-line World Cup, the Sport Skate is still light enough to let you move fast.

The Sport Skate Boot features the new, standard SNS Pilot dual-axle technology and full-length guide ridge, which increase control and power transmission, and a skate-specific flex that's more rigid than a classic flex but softer than a full-blown race-style design. It's got Thinsulate insulation built in as well, because even if you're skiing hard your toes can absolutely freeze out there.
