Maybe you have a customized soft/firm mattress and a customized claw-foot bathtub, or maybe the only place you've ever customized is in your ski boots. Either way, why wouldn't you strap customized ski boots like the Atomic Hawx 2.0 130 Men's Boots to your feet? In addition to heat-moldable liners, the Hawx sports Atomic's Memory Fit technology to hook you up with a
custom-fit shell in minutes, relieving pressure points, decreasing slop,
and increasing performance so you'll ski better and be happier doing
it. Indeed, the name of the Hawx' game is customization: in addition to
customizable shells and liners,
the Power Shift technology lets you choose from three forward lean
settings—13, 15, and 17 degrees—as well as change the flex rating by up
to 10 points in either direction, making the Hawx ski more like a 120 if
you're cruising through powder or
a race-ready 140 if it's time to pinch the throttle and charge.
The shiny new Platinum liner, Atomic's top-of-the-line offering, is decked out with a whole bundle of 3M Thinsulate insulation to keep your toes from being mummified in ice, and the Hawx has a medium 100mm last to offer a fit that's high-performance without being painful. Atomic also designed the Hawx with Sole Flex technology, which gives the boot a natural flex underfoot for better balance and snow feel at any speed and in any terrain. A traditional four-buckle design and wide powerstrap let you crank the Hawx down as tight as you need to, and the 2K Grip Sole makes short work of icy parking lots and short in-bounds hikes.
