Don't be a chicken.
One day, birds will evolve to the point that they're into shredding, and when they do, you can bet they'll want to strap the Atomic Hawx 110 Ski Boot onto their talons. Thankfully, they're not there yet—can you imagine a giant man-bird with a scythe of a beak standing next to you at the top of a Chinese downhill, staring at you with those evil yellow eyes? Anyway, the Hawx 110 is more than suitable for humans, too, with a 100mm last and a 110 flex that are solid enough to charge the whole mountain and but comfortable enough that you'll be able to rip all day without stopping, even if you're not some sort of hardcore post-evolutionary bird-dude. To accommodate the natural flex of your foot, Atomic has developed the I-Flex Zone, a series of forefoot panels that allow the boot to flex with you as you weight it, improving balance and control while boosting comfort.
If it's been a while since you upgraded your boots, get ready, because some serious improvements in fit adjustability will have you throwing your old liners to the birds. The ASY Pro T2 liner in the Hawx features Dynashape heat-moldable foam panels along the forefoot and ankle, allowing you dial in the fit of your boot to insane degrees. The foam molds to your foot almost as soon as you put it on, but can be heated up and professionally shaped to achieve even higher degrees of fit perfection, and a Sidas insole brings first-fit, all-day comfort and support home to roost. No-slip grip pads on the soles help you strut through the parking lot and down the stairs with ease, and a 35mm powerstrap locks the whole package down, keeping your shin and calf from slopping around.

- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I've been skiing old Atomic 80s for years and decided it was time for an upgrade. Have had some ankle/Achilles issues so wanted a stiffer flex. These are great. Very comfortable and responsive. They look sharp too.
