All the fun with a little extra flair.

The Atlas Girls’ Elektra 20 Youth Snowshoe lets your little lady get out there with you when you hit the trails this winter. With the same materials as the adult models—aluminum frame, stainless steel crampon, Nytex snow-shedding deck—this snowshoe lets your kid roam all she wants. Single-pull bindings let your little one put on and take off these snowshoes in seconds, so playtime doesn’t have to wait. Atlas even added cool kid-friendly graphics to get her excited about a little wilderness-wander.

    Great Snowshoe

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Purchased these for my 8 year old and she loves them. She can play even longer in the snow since she is no longer post holing in deep snow. The snowshoes are narrow enough that they do not interfere with her normal gait. Straps are okay for parents to adjust. Pulling to tighten the straps can be tricky but a loop or pull tab would be a nice addition to ease adjustment. The snowshoes are lightweight so they will not be a burden on your kids. The crampon provides plenty of traction for climbing those hills.
