The Atlas Women's 6000 Series 2-Piece Trekking Poles take weight off your knees and exercise your arms as you snowshoe. Extend the lower section of pole for balance during your downhill hike and retract the pole for stability and traction on your ascent. The snowflake baskets prevent post-holing, the steel flex tips stay strong in tough terrain, and Atlas molded the handle grips to fit a feminine hand. With this lightweight, adjustable pole, your legs, chest, back, triceps, and biceps get involved while you hike.

I would love a pole that would work for summer hiking treks(weak knees) as well as snowshoeing would this do the trick or is there a better option?
