Driven by technology to get you farther.
Whether you're heading up a Search and Rescue crew or you just like to get lost in an occasional whiteout, the Atlas 12 Series Snowshoe is ready to serve as your go-to big-mountain foot gear. The 12 series offers a variety of features oriented towards steeper and deeper treks so you stay on top of the snow and on top of your game.
This is Atlas' most aggressive 12-series binding yet. With a lightweight Speed-V frame that
maximizes flotation while it minimizes deck interference, the 12-Series Snowshoe is
designed to give you total mobility, even when it gets deep and the terrain gets extra-rugged. The turned-up
tail provides a more-natural feel as you move. Atlas' new Wrapp Pro
binding provides comfort and easy entry. The Duratek decking is extremely
tough and lightweight, and it sheds snow so you aren't carrying pounds
of backcountry along with you. The tenacious stainless steel Zodiac toe crampon digs in when the going gets tough so you can access terrain that would have never thought possible.

Unstoppable shoe
After three treks in Olympic and Mt Rainier I'm hooked on these massive shoes, being a large man I enjoyed the extra floatation. My wife loved the fact I made an easy trail to use. Looking forward to the deep snow later this season
Fantastic snowshoe, great system, BIG
- Familiarity:I've used it several times
There's absolutely nothing wrong with these - very light, robust, great entry system (clearly better than any type we have rented over the years). They're probably just a little big for medium-sized people to be carrying on a snowboarding backcountry tour, but fantastic for when you don't have to carry them anywhere. To that effect, we are buying more right now, but the 25in instead.

The 30's fit nicely strapped on to my Osprey 24L. The heel straps double as stow straps to keep the two snowshoes together.
