Great versatile life jacket

  • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Very breathable life jacket, great fitting and attention to detail.

Green River Approved!

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

Great vest for anyone looking for the safest and highest performance paddle/row jacket in the market. On the Green river, it is required that you wear a PFD. This is a great option due to the breathable back and the open fit. The design means material wont get in your way when you are constantly working your upper body while taking a beating from the sun. The overall low profile nature of this thing makes it a top pick!

Breathable, Light and comfortable !

I am so glad I got my V-Eight this year. I wear my PFD any time I am in my kayak or wading the river and in the southeast it can get scorching hot in the summer time. I wear good breathable shirts, but if they can't breathe under your PFD what good are they ? The vents on the V-Eight make a monster difference in the coolness as well as the other features that assist in air flow. It is light, comfortable and does its job well. The high back fits my kayak great and allows me the full benefit of my lumbar support. i would recommend the V-Eight without question to any paddler that needed to be cooler on the water.
