Can't take my eyes off of these!

First and foremost, if you don't want people stopping and staring at you and overhearing people whispering and talking about your mittens on the lift line than don't get these! These look damn good and get a lot of attention and compliments. These mittens do run big. I bought the size small. I usually wear gloves/mittens in the S or XS range whether its women's, men's, or unisex and these by god are kinda big. So I'm a snowboarder and I'm assuming the mittens running on the bigger side isn't a huge problem for skiers because usually they are gripping ski poles while wearing them, but I find myself when wearing the mittens and snowboarding, I tend to hold my hands closer to my body than usual or keep my hands in sort of a fist (not a fist inside the mitten, more like a fist while wearing them because I'm trying to hold on to them) because I'm a little worried they might come off since there is so much wiggle room inside for me. This season I'm going to start wearing liner gloves with them, not necessarily for added warmed, more to fill in some of that space. That being said, there is no leash to put around your wrist or gaiter or some kind of stretch band , etc. for the wrist area that many ski gloves or mittens feature. The gauntlet on them are a good size to fit over any jacket sleeve including bulky insulated or down. On wet storm days and riding through blower powder, they get wet with melted snow, but you never feel it on the inside. It is warm! These are essentially my powder day/storm mittens. The wet mittens though do start to smell a little funny, but its minor (The smells is on the outside of the mittens, not inside). The smell pretty much goes away once they are dry again. So in conclusion, these are warm and they look so freakin' sexy that I can overlook how they don't really fit me and its cost for not really fitting me! Hope they make a size XS one day!

These mitts are one of a kind.

Seriously gorgeous! I wore them today in the 9 degree cold smoke at Alta ski resort and they kept me beautifully warm and dry. Everyone around me was complaining about cold fingers, but not I. These are stupid warm. I was concerned about waterproofing on these gloves, but the copious powder snow didn't stand a chance against wise Sacagawea.

I must say the red flowers on the beading do appear significantly more orange in real life, than they do in the product photos. But they are so pleasing to look at, I don't care a bit.

I am so excited about these!! They are incredibly warm, and the soft inner insulation feels great. The Polartec fabric is silky and luxurious, it somewhat resembles the texture of shearling sheep's wool, but much softer and not at all itchy.

The gauntlet on the mitten will even comfortably fit over the cuffs of a bulky insulated jacket.

UPDATE: These gloves held their own at Grand Targhee in -2 degrees F. No way in frozen hell my other gloves could have done this for me.
