The Backcountry.com Co-Lab Mitten is a special-edition from Astis and the only mitten of its kind adorned with the Backcountry goat logo. Astis Mittens was founded in 2011, but the story goes back over a decade. A man was canoeing in northern Ontario when he met a Cree woman, and traded her a pocket knife for a pair of warm leather mittens. Neither of them knew that their friendly trade would spark one of the most unique and interesting mitten companies on the planet. Astis combines traditional construction and modern, weather-stopping tech to keep your hands warm in an eye-catching style you can wear in the backcountry or when you're cruising town on a cold winter night.
