The Asolo Men's Moab XCR Lightweight Hiking Shoe has a technical, shock-absorbing sole with maximum grip to keep your hike or trail run sure-footed. The Hyper Lite sole consists of a heel-stabilizing TPU structure, a full-length EVA midsole, and the Asolite Flex, the soul of the sole. The Asolite Flex sits between the mid- and outsoles and transfers shock through three densities to prevent jarring. The Gore-Tex uppers with mesh are highly breathable and waterproof, so your feet will stay dry and comfortable on trail runs and hikes over any terrain and in any condition.

Bottom Line: Keep your feet free from shock, wetness, and discomfort with the Asolo Moab XCR Lightweight Hiking Shoe.

Great Shoes, Highly recommend

Got these to replace an old pair of Merrell's that had fallen apart after constant daily use. These shoes are absolutely amazing. I am on my feet most of the day, and my very flat feet tend to need sturdier insoles than the "factory installed ones". The Asolo insoles have stood strong and comfortable for 3 weeks and counting. The shoes are lightweight, breathe well, and waterproof. I have yet to take these shoes on a longer walk/hike, but I am confident they will hold up well. I highly recommend these shoes.

The Moab XCR has been an excellent choice. I was running on a backwoods trail when a thunderstorm blew in. I thought, well I will see how these shoes will perform wet and muddy. I was delighted with there performance. They are now ready for my trip this summer to RMNP in Colorado. Longs Peak here I come...

solid shoe again

By:

I owned a pair of asolo's while building a house and they stood up to a lot of abuse, but lasted 3 years before they essentially tore from the inside out. I ran across the same model in a popular discount catalog for 40 bucks and bought them again. That shoe is now retired so switching models to the light hiker for this purchase was a gamble, but true to form, the asolo sole materials and their transition to the upper is just as sturdy as the retired hikers. the toe box area is not only supported by the trademark toe grip that seems to adorn all asolo's but there's three layers of material stitched together in the front - you really feel like you're lacing yourself too something when you put these on. Combine that with a firm heel cup and waterproof breathable fabric and here's another pair of shoes I'll have for a long time.
the red/grey combo comes off looking somewhat like a bowling shoe, maybe its the light grey sole - dunno, still like it though.

My New Favorite Shoe!

The Asolo Moab XCRs are awesome extremely versatile shoes. They have a technical construction for fast pack hiking or trail running, and the XCR is real nice for wet conditions. Also, they are some of the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned, and super light. These are some sweet shoes!
