Built for the daily grind.
Sometimes the simplest solution is the most effective. Designed for mild to moderate overpronators, the comfort and cushioning-focused Asics Men's GT-2000 4 Running Shoe is the bread and butter of your running shoe arsenal.
Mesh in the upper provides excellent breathability, and the ComfortDry sockliner wicks moisture to prevent your foot from getting swampy with sweat. The Heel Clutching System technology uses an exoskeletal heel counter for improved support and superior heel hold. Impact Guidance System technology employs linked components to enhance the foot's natural gait from heel strike to toe-off.
Rearfoot and Forefoot Gel Cushioning systems and the FluidRide midsole offer a springy ride that helps you keep going mile after mile. Propulsion Trusstic technology mimics connective tissue in the foot by creating tension as the foot enters the propulsion stage, and the Guidance Line vertical flex groove on the outsole enhances gait efficiency.

- Q & A
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: Runs small
- Size Bought: 11.5
Here is my take on these running shoes. Asics used to be my go-to brand for running shoes. These really disappointed me honestly. This sole gave out on me pretty quickly when was training for my half marathon. Usually, I trade my blown out shoes into yard work shoes. However, with these, i can't even wear them for that. I only put about 100 miles of running before they completely gave out. Also, they make a wide version of this shoe and it extremely wide. So if you are an in between width foot there are better options. If you are considering this shoe give me an email email@example.com and we can go over some options for your running type.
Great for a trail run
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This running shoe is exactly what I was looking for. Grip of the sole is good and solid intended for trail running. It'll be a bit flexible but not too much. Cushion is great and upper material is very light and soft. Probably one of the lightest shoes I have. It also protects the tip of your toes against any stone or piece of wood on the trail, which is great.
Looks like some real technology has been put into this shoe. I noticed that the heel area might be a bit too though on the skin after a long run. Make sure your socks will protect the back of your ankle during the first uses.
What width are these? (they come in four widths) Thanks.
Hey Douglas - These are the standard D width version. Feel free to contact me directly with any additional questions.
