Girls don't just want to have fun. They also want to go fast.
Armada assures us that its women's skis are not dumbed-down versions of the men's skis. These are skis for hard-charging female skiers. The Armada ARW Women's Ski, as an all-mountain dominator, should have a wide, stable platform, traditional camber, and burly, full sidewall construction. It's a classic design with tweaks that account for differences in stance and weight between a woman and a man. The ARW is a solid choice for a go-to everyday ski for all-mountain park skiing, so you can kill urban rails, park jumps, or jibs.
Positive (traditional) camber profile gives you stability and precise control underfoot. Hybrid Double Zone Core is a wood core with two high-density wood stringers to stiffen longitudinal flex and two ABS layers laid alongside the core to increase torsional rigidity. Add to that the AR50 Sidewall, which is full sidewall, classic, high-end construction, and you get results in a predictable flex and nigh-bombproof build quality. CK Stringers add to tail durability while giving this ski pop that's essential for ollieing over obstacles or powering through the end of your turns. The Armada women's design time threw in Titanal technology that uses two layers of metal above the core to stiffen and dampen this ski so it feels supremely stable at high speeds. Laminate Matrix, a layup that increases torsional rigidity and further reinforces the core and construction so you can ride the ARW hard. Armada's fastest base, Comp Series Base (it slides really, really fast) are combined with the 1.7mm Impact Edges that thick enough for all-mountain riding and light enough to reduce swing weight noticeably. The 77-78mm waist width was shaped specifically to give this ski an aggressive sidecut taper and maximize edge-to-edge agility
