A simple pole for skiing.
You don't need fancy poles with adjustable lengths and shock-absorbers; you just want a simple pole like the Armada Triad Ski Pole. Its aluminum shaft keeps the pole light and strong, the PE grip ensures you hold onto the pole when your ride gets intense, and the steel tip stabs into crud. The Triad comes with baskets that are excellent in the terrain park and hardpack days. What more do you need? Ok, maybe a pole that could pour you a beer at the end of the day.
- Aluminum shaft
- 60mm basket included

Solid poles for the money
- Familiarity: I gave it as a gift, but have feedback to share
Bought these poles for my girlfriend and I can tell you Armada makes good stuff regardless of high or low price tag on it.
These poles at first glace seem constructed pretty well and you can't even tell the are aluminium they are so light and the paint on the shaft is so thick they don't 'ting' when you hit them together.
Baskets at the tip are a little smaller than expected so I wouldn't advise these for deep pow unless you get some replacement baskets specifically for powder.
Overall I would say great for the money but more of a park / basic pole than anything forsure.
