And when the summit weather threatens to freeze off your nay-nays, 80g of synthetic Polyfill insulation in the body and 60g in the sleeves holds your precious degrees close without overheating you on the lower mountain.

- The helmet-compatible Reactive Hood System features internal and external adjustment, a quick-release tab, and a reinforced brim to prevent flapping in rotor wash
- Zippered, mesh underarm vents dump heat when you hike for your turns or ski through a heat wave
- Stowable powder skirt, wrist gaiters, adjustable cuffs, and a tall microfleece-lined chin guard block out the blowing snow and cold air
- Water-repellent zippers prevent vulnerabilities in the wettest spring storms
- The chest media pocket features a headphone port so you can wire your tunes to your ears without loose cables running everywhere
- An internal microfleece-lined goggle pocket holds your eyewear where it won't get thrashed during hikes or the drive home
- RECCO Avalanche Rescue System may give you a better chance at being recovered inbounds
