The Armada Halo blends a rockered profile with jib-specific DNA for a park ride like no other. EST Park Rocker and tapered tips and tails let the Halo throw butters and smear turns on demand, while the stiff and stable mid-section hauls arse into lays carves off the biggest of hits. The AR50 Sidewall and Hybrid Double Zone Core find and optimal blend of low swing weight and durability, while the 2.5 Impact Edge and S7 base laugh in the face of boxes, rails, and wall rides.
Bottom Line: Take flight with the Halo.

To be completely honest, i bought them long (at 176). And i'm only 178cm tall. I found them a bit hard to charge down the big cut out bumps on such a long ski. The edges really like to fight the other ski's decals. I had a chat to a guest at the resort i work at, he was riding this yr's JJ's and had the same problem with the scratches and chips on his sidecuts. That laminate stuff on the decals is like butter. Anyway's about the dampening and flex;
Say we took the bumps head on; the front tips are cushion like keeping you stable at impact, the tale gives you that nice pop so you can get some air and land on something that's going to break that landing really nicely (Kevlar Carbon stringers in the tail).
Say we wanted to charge down the slope as if the terrain was like that of a moguls course; it's a light lively ski which means you can throw it around but i think the elf shoe technology and soft tips are a disadvantage. I just find it hard to maintain my line down the hill when I'm throwing myself into the big bumps.
The flex and dampening make this a great all mountain charger, its very stable over all the little bumps you get cut out at the end of the day on the groomers; not so much the big stuff. Overall id say these skis are similar to an SUV, powerful and can overcome the narlyist of drops, just not as zippy and tight turning as a lotus.

Have you skied them in the bumps? If so, what are your thoughts on how the perform (i.e. flex, dampening). Thanks.
Change me.

Really fun
I loved this ski for a couple reasons. First off, it super light and easy to spin. The halo is really durable too. Great ski. more...
Fix for the edges eating the top sheet graphics...
For all you who own JJ's and Halo's (I own this year's JJ's) and who don't want to see your top sheet graphics ripped up in about four more...
