With a wider profile and lightweight AR50 sidewall construction, the AR7 improves on the Armada’s legendary all-mountain park crusher. The newer, wider version of your old favorite brings even more confidence to chopped up transitions and variable snow without sacrificing its jib-friendly swing weight.

Bottom Line: The best just got even better.

I just want everyone to know that armadas are very stiff but very high quality skis. I like the brand i like the product but armada is for super super aggressive skiers in places where there is soft snow. Armadas are by far the most unforgiving skis i have ever ridden i live where its very icy and the 50 50 sidewall is light and nimble but not very forgiving. If you live on the ice coast or the midwest i would consider a fully sidewalled ski with a little more response on ice. My personal favorites the rossi s4 and the salomon suspect. I have rifled through four pairs of suspects but they are by far the most fun ski ever. If you break them the good news is that salomon will replace and if u buy of backcountry they replace them indefinitely i believe. Just consider your options people.

east coast skiers aren't really as good as west coast skiers so there opinions may be a little different

I did not think these were stiff at all... Try the Katanas- those are a stiff ski. These are relatively flexy and perfect for resort skiing (Though I have the AR6 last years model)

I agree this dude must be crazy. The AR7 is kinda stiff but not really. You dont have to be super agressive

I don't know what you are talking about. The AR6/AR7 is not made for soft snow and it's not all that stiff. Suspects are stiffer. The AR7 is a great all-mountain ski.
