Arc'teryx makes things with a purpose. No gimmicks or razzle dazzle, just high-quality gear that's made to excel when you know what hits the fan. When your particular experience is an out-of-nowhere backcountry downpour, the Zeta LT Hybrid Women's Jacket will keep you dry and happy, even if you're carrying 60 pounds on your back and have 15 more miles to go before you can set up camp. Plenty of jackets use the same 3L Gore-Tex membrane to block water, but not many can match the Zeta LT's (LT stands for Ultra Light, if you were wondering) supreme packability, which allows it to stash in your pack's small, easily accessible outer pockets. So you can grab it in a jiffy if things get drippy. Arc'teryx finished the 40D nylon ripstop body with a DWR treatment to make water bead and run off, while the sleeves and shoulders are reinforced with nylon tricot to prevent wear under pack straps.
The Zeta's attention to detail doesn't stop there. The seams, for instance, are all fully sealed with micro Gore seam tape for extra waterproofing, while the WaterTight zippers help your pockets stay dry and the stow-away StormHood has a laminated brim to keep the drizzle off your lovely mug.
