Whether you're hiking through the Great Smoky Mountains, trekking to base camp under full sun, or wacking down thigh-high weeds in your backyard, the Zeta pant protects your legs from wind, rain, and twig-lashings without weighing you down.
The crew at Arc'teryx combined two different Gore-Tex fabrics, N150p-X and N40p, to produce this lightweight versatile pant. The DWR finish helps water bead on the fabric surface so you don't get that clammy, cold "I'm not wet but I feel wet" feeling. Taped seams enhance the pant's ability to withstand weather, and micro-seam allowances reduce both weight and bulk. Even though it might be raining, you still generate heat when humping up a 7% grade. Open up the 3/4-length watertight zippers, from the top or bottom, to let a little more fresh air in to cool you off.
Articulated knees and a gusseted crotch give you full range of motion, so stepping over downed trees won't result in ripped pants. Cuffs snap open and closed, and the pant comes with a metal lace hook to ensure your boot stays in contact with your pant, reducing unwanted ankle exposure when the brush is particularly gnarly. The anatomical cut ensures an appropriate fit, and the adjustable webbing belt keeps this pant as high or low as you please.
