Great running shorts for a big fella. Not skimpy like the ones those runts who run 7 days a week wear. Not baggy and hot either. The liner really helps with chafing, too. This is my second pair.
how big is the pocket? It said "MP3 size", big enough

the pocket is best suited to a nano. you could maybe fit a touch in there, because the fabric is stretchy, but it would be quite tight.

These shorts are the best I've found for hitting the trails. super soft liner. VERY comfortable waistband which doesn't give you that scrunchy elastic band look. Great room for movement also. The only caution I throw out is that the built in briefs don't offer enough support. But that's not a problem for me because I always wear my fabulous icebreaker undies (which totally rock. Go check them out.)
Bottom line: For the price, you would expect to get the best. And you will.

The inseam is more like 6", but check out the Preceda short, it's about 7.5"

I know these are designed for running,and running only....but I just wish Arc would add another pocket (I know Arc can do it without adding too much bulk) Just as any Arc product, this is very minimalist design, and since I live in the city and need to carry a few things to get home safe, I have to wear a "tool belt" when I wear this shorts.
It is made very well, fits is great, and even after multiple hard wash my oundromat machines, it's still in good shape.
Again, please add another pocket. I need to carry more than a MP3, I need a place for my ID, cash, keys, and above all, a gel. Thanks!
