Survived the JMT...
Just completed the John Muir Trail through the Sierra Nevada's wearing this shirt everyday for 15 days while carrying a 35lb pack. Performed flawlessly, no irritation with the backpack straps, no weird itchiness anywhere, sweat flowed in and dried fast. Salt stains washed out easily at the end of the day and the shirt was always dry for the next morning. I'm a big fan of Arc`teryx gear and this shirt performed extremely well. Was comfortable to wear for long hours hiking (10+/day) unlike other similar (cheaper) shirts I have that "stick" to my skin after wearing a few hours. Combined with Arcteryx's Rampart shorts and pants, this was pretty much it for my base layer clothing. Its a bit on the pricey side but for long multi-day hiking and working hard physically charging up and over high mountain passes in the sun, this was about all one could ask for in a shirt. Highly recommended.

The Arc'teryx line of high performance shirts... Velox and Motus, etc.... I am 5'10" 41" chest 31" waist 165 lbs. What size should I buy? I don't like tight shirts, nor do I like baggy shirts.... any suggestions???
I am roughly the same dimensions and wear the medium. it does not fit tight and I hate baggy tech shirts. The large will certainly be just that (baggy). You can also look at the motus line of shirts. they are roughly the same cut where-as the phase line is tight (next to skin).

Medium - large will be quite the loose fit on you.

I wanna know whether this T shirt has a logo in the back?
There is no logo on the back - just the front chest logo. http://www.altrec.com/arcteryx/velox-comp-crew-mens

I'm a 6'3 (190cm), 198lbs (90kg and dropping!)) and chest 41inch (104cm). What would you guys recommend, M or L ? I don't like shirts that are too short but I also don't like too wide.
Thanks in advance.
Go Large for the Velox. It will be just right.
Worth Every Penny
So pricey but my very favorite shirt. Buy it.
The only shirt you need
This is the best Arcteryx shirt. I have nearly all of them and this is the bomb. Great second skin fit, super light, silky smooth front, gusseted underarms, and totally cool looks. Too bad they are all sold out in Mediums or I'd buy three more.
The best shirt I have
Can not believe this shirt. I'am one of those big guys that sweats like a pig.
But I stay cool and comfortable with this shirt. High dollar I know, however, I will be buying more. Arcteryx has the best products. I have like 5-6 midlayers & jackets.
Lightweight & Breathable
I've got two of these shirts and I wish I had 10. Spendy, yes, but well worth it. I use them mountain biking and trail running and can't think of wearing anything else when the temps are cookin' in the Wasatch. The fabric is very comfortable and dries in a jiffy.
just what was needed!
A lightweight, fast-wicking shirt that provides for sufficient mobility. Managed to avoid snags and abrasions even with my slopping climbing. Yep...if your technique on belay is crap, you should at least look good while doing it ;)
